ISO 9001:2000

ISO 9001:2000 is an internationally recognized standard for business quality management that focuses on continual improvement as a means to increase client satisfaction. It provides a rigorous framework for instituting and optimizing processes that help improve quality, productivity and efficiency by examining a company’s processes. ISO 9001:2000 certification recognizes that Verifications’ quality management system conforms to the requirements set forth in the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

NAPBS®

Founded in 2003 as a non-profit trade association, NAPBS® serves to represent the interest of companies offering employment and background screening. NAPBS® offers an opportunity for qualified companies to participate in shaping the body of knowledge and regulations impacting our futures.

SAPAA

The Substance Abuse Program Administrators Association mission is to establish, promote, and communicate the highest standards of quality, integrity, and professionalism in the administration of workplace substance abuse prevention programs through education, training and the exchange of ideas. Verifications has been designated a Certified – Third Party Administrator (C-TPA) by the Substance Abuse Program Administrators Association.

HR-XML

The HR-XML Consortium is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to the development and promotion of a standard suite of XML specifications to enable e-business and the automation of human resources-related data exchanges. Verifications first became HR-XML certified for background screening in 2004. Our certification was renewed in January of 2007.

ASIS International

ASIS International is the largest organization for security professionals. ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests. ASIS also advocates the role and value of the security management profession to business, the media, governmental entities, and the public. Verifications is active in ASIS both locally and internationally.

SHRM

The Society for Human Resource Management is the world's largest association devoted to human resource management. The Society's mission is to serve the needs of HR professionals by providing the most essential and comprehensive resources available and also to advance the human resource profession to ensure that HR is recognized as an essential partner in developing and executing organizational strategy. Verifications is an active SHRM member.

IAPP

The International Association of Privacy Professionals is a global association of privacy and security professionals. With more than 3,000 individual and corporate members, the IAPP seeks to define, promote and improve the profession of privacy. The IAPP achieves this mission through a combination of certification programs (the Certified Information Privacy Professional, or CIPP), conferences, publications, and networking events. Verifications' is an active member of IAPP.

MROCC

The Medical Review Officer Certification Council (MROCC) a physician-based non-profit board, offers certification to physicians who have had appropriate medical training in the duties and responsibilities of the professional MRO. MROCC promotes and preserves the highest professional standards of training and care among MROs. Verifications maintains an MRO staff of MROCC Certified MRO Assistants.

ASAM

The American Society of Addiction Medicine is a professional organization for physicians who specialize in the treament of addiction. The Society aims to increase access to and improve the quality of addiction treatment, education physicians, other health care providers and the public, support research and prevention, promote the role of the physician in the care of patients with addiction, and establish addiction medicine as a primary specialty recognized by professional organizations, governments, physicians, purchasers and consumers of health care services as well as the general public. Verifications' Chief MRO is certified by ASAM and serves as an ASAM instructor.

NCISS

The National Council of Investigation and Security Services, Inc., is a cooperative effort of those companies and associations responsible for providing private security and investigation services to the legal profession, business community, government and public. Verifications maintains membership in the NCISS.

Safe Harbor

To bridge the different privacy approaches used by the U.S. and the European Union, the EU and the U.S. Department of Commerce have developed a "Safe Harbor" privacy framework using a certification process which allows US companies to certify that they comply with the EU Privacy Directive. Safe Harbor certification assures EU organizations that that a company provides "adequate” privacy protection, as defined by the Directive. Verifications was Safe Harbor certified on December 24, 2003.

AAMRO

AAMRO is a nonprofit professional medical organization dedicated to establishing national standards and certification of medical practitioners in the field of drug and alcohol testing.  AAMRO certification represents an objective standard of competency and expertise for Medical Review Officers. Many of Verifications' MROs are certified by AAMRO.

MAPI

The Minnesota Association of Private Investigators and Protective Agents is a non-profit corporation organized and founded by a group of private investigators interested in building career awareness through shared resources and educational opportunities. MAPI promotes and maintains the highest ethical practices in the field of private investigation and protective agents, and only accepts as members those individuals whose background meets their stringent code of ethics. Verifications is an active member of MAPI.
