ADVERSE ACTION PROCESSING
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires you to notify applicants of any adverse hiring decision you make based on employment screening reports produced for you by Verifications. We provide complete and automated processing of adverse action notifications in VIAM. Both Preliminary Adverse Action Notices and Final Adverse Action Notices can be ordered and sent on your letterhead at the click of a button.
Included with these notices is the applicant's copy of the employment screening report and a copy of the FCRA document "A Summary of Your Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act." In addition, we conduct all re-investigations required in the case of an applicant dispute. Re-investigations take place between the preliminary and final adverse action notices and are managed by our internal compliance department.
