POSITION: Customer Services Representative - Part-Time or Full-Time

Shift: Monday through Friday, Varying shifts

Position Summary:

A part-time or full-time (non-exempt) position with the main responsibility of providing Applicant Services to clients by servicing the applicant. We have either 4 hour or 8 hour shifts available, morning or evening. Some of these services include but are not limited to the following: applicant calls (inbound and outbound), adverse action letters, applicant copies, document management, fingerprint cards, undeliverable mail and disputes. ASR is expected to maintain a professional and supportive relationship with applicant base and represent VI to the best of his/her abilities. Role requires little or no travel.

Primary Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities of the ASR surround order and system updates. The ASR will be responsible for answering applicant questions via email and phone calls (inbound and outbound). The ASR will be available to provide applicant education as necessary. ASR will assist in document processing as determined by business need.

As a member of a fast paced team, candidates must have the ability to support various workload volumes, sources and systems. Applicant Service Representatives create a positive experience for all applicants, therefore exceptional communication skills are a must. Candidates must be organized, flexible, strategic, and adaptable. Along with exceptional written skills, listening/comprehension skills are critical to succeed. Applicants must be a self-motivated, independent, and able to adapt to frequent change.


This position requires excellent communication skills, and knowledge of business and professional writing. Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel is preferred. Previous customer contact experience is helpful, but not required. Diploma/GED is required. Fluency in both Spanish and English would be a bonus.
