Position Summary
This individual, reporting to the Vice President, sells solutions that enable our clients to expedite their hiring process. This field based sales position is designed to aggressively grow the revenue and market-share of VI within an assigned territory targeting large companies. This position requires expert sales cycle management and execution of consultative and solution selling methodologies. If you are a self-starter, passionate about winning, driven to succeed and have a proven track record of successful experience selling in a consultative role then we need to talk because VI may be the place for you.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
- Meet with Executive decision makers in a top-down sales approach to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for VI to streamline/ automate their hiring processes
- Generate revenue by identifying new business through various lead generation and networking activities
- Demonstrated negotiation skills.
- Maintain accurate and timely prospect, pipeline, and forecast data
- Develop laser focused business plans that include territory and prospect development
- Maintain knowledge of VI's solutions in addition to understanding the competitive landscape and customer needs so you can effectively position VI
- Experience directing a team selling environment facilitating large groups in a business setting
Personal and Professional Characteristics
- Solid work ethic with an ability to succeed in a competitive environment
- Self-disciplined with an ability to work independently in a remote location
- 3 plus years of proven business to business solutions sales experience, preferably in solution-driven enterprise sales.
- Experience selling complex software solutions within Human Resources marketplace preferred.
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability and desire to independently interact with multi-functional teams on a global basis
- Solid technology skills including knowledge of CRMs, Microsoft suite of applications and other internet applications
- College degree preferred
