Position Summary:

The Enterprise Architect role will be accountable for the integrity and interoperability of Verifications, Inc. business technology domains, including information, data, technology, business, security and application environments. This role synthesizes information about each domain and provides clear, enterprise-consistent architectural direction across VI's technology and relevant business activities. With a team of engineers, this role drives and nurtures VI's future state technology vision and the identification and implementation of underlying foundational technology enablers.

Key Responsibilities

1.Establish, govern and communication an enterprise architecture vision that includes all relevant domains in order to drive achievement of business and information technology strategies. 50
2. Sponsor the realization and achievement of the enterprise architecture vision through roadmap development and engagement in architectural decisions during solution development. Develop enterprise architecture processes, standards, templates and components to ensure alignment between business strategies and IT domain roadmaps. 20
3. Drive cost-efficient enterprise architecture through selective additions and effective reuse of technology along with elimination of systems and environments. 10
4. Create, communicate and improve the governing principles, standards and models that detail technical landscapes by reconciling various stakeholder requirements 10
5. Maintain in-depth knowledge of standards, guidelines, industry trends and competitive trends for multiple architectural specialties. 10

Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related area, or equivalent experience.
  • Cold-Fusion 6, 7, 8, XML, Power Builder, XSLT, Java
  • Microsoft C# .NET experience (Web Services, Web Pages, Business Rules Classes, Data Access classes, Window Services)
  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server.
  • High degree of competence is required with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Project.
  • 2+ years of SQL Server experience.
  • Networking and Windows Server administration (programming WMI, IIS, vbscript, batch files) skills a plus.
  • Software installation and/or automated build skills a plus.
  • Intelligence Concepts.
  • Microsoft Certified.
