|POSITION:||JUNIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR|
A full-time (exempt) system administrator position with primary responsibilities of supporting network hardware, network software, local carrier circuits, and other local and wide area network objects as it relates to the infrastructure. Works closely with the location support personnel, other infrastructure and IT resources, Vendors, and others as required to maintain the network and enterprise infrastructure. This role requires limited travel.

|1. Install, upgrade and support hardware and software on network devices and servers, including MS operating system(s), other off-the-shelf software packages, and network output devices, such as printers and faxes-physical work is required, including bending and lifting up to 40 lbs||30|
|2. Perform systems administrator functions, such as daily back-up and troubleshoot/correct user operational problems and/or system problems||20|
|3. Conduct basic user training for Windows and Internet use as needed and ensure optimum performance of the enterprise systems and networks||10|
|4. Become proficient w/all manner of equipment/software/hardware||20|
|5. Ensure confidentiality and adherence to methodologies and procedures||10|
|6. Miscellaneous duties as assigned||10|
This systems administrator role requires proficiency in Windows 2003 and higher, Networking, and LAN communication and operations. Experience installing, supporting, and troubleshooting PCs and networks is a must. College degree, technical school degree, or equivalent exeperience is required; preferably in Computer Science or a related technology offering. Work toward systems and network certification is desirable.
Strong interest in learning new technologies; open to new processes and operational methods. Self-motivated; independent worker with the ability to multi-task along with the ability to effectively share knowledge and ideas with others in non-technical manner; multi-task and the ability to work with/influence a team.
