George brings more than 30 years of industry experience in both the private and public sectors to his role as EVP of Substance Abuse Service. A proven leader dedicated to client service, George is responsible for crafting compliant, innovative and cost-effective substance abuse services for our clients.

Before joining V.I., George operated a nationally respected Medical Review Officer and third party administrator firm for both federally regulated and non-regulated employers for more than 15 years. Most recently, Ellis served as a Senior Policy Advisor for Drug and Alcohol Program Policy and Compliance in the Office of the Secretary of Transportation. In addition, he spent nine years in senior positions in the treatment of drug and alcohol dependent military personnel.
