V.I. Employees Raise Money for Glacial Lakes Humane Society

Employees Raise Money for Glacial Lakes Humane Society

Verifications' Watertown Business Center employees recently raised $1,000 for the Glacial Lakes Humane Society. Employees also donated a number of non-monetary items, including blankets, bleach and dog and cat food.

Watertown's Client Services Department organized the event. As part of the drive, any employee donating at least $5 was able to wear casual clothing for one week. Nearly every Watertown employee made a donation, raising $1,000 and enabling Glacial Lakes to make needed repairs to their building.

In an effort to give back to the community in which they work, the Watertown Client Services Department sponsors a donation drive for local non-profit organizations each quarter. Employees also volunteer at the Special Olympics and help serve meals at Thanksgiving.
