Acquisition Allows for Improved Substance Abuse Services

Minneapolis, Minnesota — September 26, 2003 — Verifications Incorporated, a leading provider of employment screening services announced today that it, and members of the executive team have acquired controlling interest of Live Response LLC, a substance abuse and TPA services company located in Bismarck, North Dakota. Live Response LLC had been providing substance abuse services to the clients of Verifications Inc. as a distribution partner.
